Single Consult / EvaluationThis session is designed to evaluate the dog and provide the owner with guidance on an appropriate training plan. If the concern is minor and related to basic manners, the consultation alone—along with a possible follow‑up—may be sufficient. If additional training sessions are desired and West Wind Dog Training is contacted within two weeks of the consultation, the full consult fee will be applied toward the four‑session training package listed below, with the remaining balance due at the next session. |

Two Private SessionsEach session is 60 minutes. The first session is used to evaluate the dog and provide the owner with a clear training action plan. The second session focuses on reviewing progress and adjusting the plan as needed. If additional training is desired, West Wind Dog Training must be contacted within 14 calendar days of the final session. Any additional sessions will be billed at $80 per session. | $130 |
Four Private Sessions - in home trainingThis option is ideal for dogs with behavioral concerns, issues occurring within the home, dogs not yet ready for group classes, or for owners who simply prefer in‑home training where the whole family can participate. The first session is designed to evaluate the dog and provide the owner with a clear plan of action. West Wind Dog Training may be contacted within thirty days of the final session to schedule additional work, which is billed at $50 per session. |

Four Private Sessions - at WWDT for up to 2 dogs in the same familyThese sessions are intended for basic manners and foundational skills, including stay/wait, loose‑leash walking, reducing jumping, coming when called, and understanding dog communication. If you want to bring more than four dogs, please contact Karen Peak to discuss creating a private group class.Please note: Sessions held at WWDT are not ideal for issues that must be addressed in the dog’s home environment, such as resource guarding, house‑training, and similar in‑home behaviors. |

Beginning Conformation WorkThese one-hour sessions focus on preparing dogs and handlers for the sport of Conformation showing. Topics may include getting a puppy started, socialization, judge’s examination, table work, ring patterns, and working with a Junior Handler (including 4‑H). For Conformation competition, the dog must be a purebred recognized and registered with an approved registry. (4‑H and UKC Junior Showmanship have different requirements, and breed or mix does not matter for Junior Handling.) If you are unable to get into a handling class, consider beginning with a few private handling sessions to help you get started. Rehabilitation of fearful and shy show dogs fall under the fees for 1, 2, or 4 sessions. |

Beginning Performance WorkThese one-hour sessions focus on introducing dogs and handlers to the foundations of performance sports. Training may include , body awareness exercises, impulse control, start‑line routines, and early obedience or rally behaviors such as heeling, fronts, finishes, and wait/stay. These sessions are ideal for puppies and young dogs just starting out, dogs preparing for future sport classes, or handlers who want one‑on‑one guidance before entering a group environment. They are also a great option for dogs who need a quieter, less distracting setting to build confidence and understanding. | $50 |
ClinicsThese sessions are tailored to the needs of your business, organization, or club. Topics may include helping clients determine whether they are ready for a dog, guidance on selecting the right dog, addressing common manners concerns such as jumping, and strategies for managing high‑energy dogs. Sessions can also cover preparing dogs for veterinary visits or grooming appointments, as well as dog‑and‑child safety classes for families or community groups.
