Guess the breed described

Many legislators try to use a description of the types of dogs to be concerned about and legislated. Often these dogs are medium to large in size, short coated, stocky build, muscular, described as powerful, ears may or may not be cropped, tails may or may not be docked. However, is this a fair description?

All the following words have been used to define in writing what a pit bull is:

"strongly built, medium-sized, short-coupled, dog possessing a sound, athletic, well-balanced conformation that enables it to function... clean-cut head with broad back skull and moderate stop; powerful jaws" This defiition is used in many resources to define the physical chararterics of a pit! I mean what esle could it be but a pit with that description?

"combination of substance, power, balance and hard muscular condition must convey the impression of great agility, strength and endurance."

"robust, large and powerful dog. The dog has large bone and well developed muscles."

"medium size, short coated dog, elegant in appearance with a strong square build and moderate body structure, muscular and powerful for endurance and agility"

"represents a strong, muscular and active dog, symmetrical and balanced in outline... capable of great endurance with a fair (good) amount of speed"

I mean really... how hard is it to give a description to the physical attributes of a pit bull?  I have outlined here many of the physical attributes given for pit bulls in various written descriptions.
