Welcome to the Breed Specific Legislation Education web site
The purpose of this site is to help educate the general public, dog owners, lawmakers, etc., as to what Breed Specific Legislation is, what is will and will not accomplish, what fair dog laws are, and so on.
From here on, Breed Specific Legislation will be shortened to BSL.
This web site was created by Karen Peak of The Safe Kids/Safe Dogs Project and West Wind Dog Training. Karen is a trainer/behavioral consultant, parent and dog owner rights supporter.
